subterranean....

subterranean, under the earth, or under the ocean. submarines searching. they don't really look that great, because i didn't draw from a photo. this was all in my imagination. as you can see... it's not that good.

perspective..

so i did this in two pieces, therefore my face is seen from two different views, two different perspectives.

Propagate..

so propagate... when i looked it up it had many many definitions, like create, reproduce, and transmit. so i drew a hand reproducing the image that i saw in the mirror... i don't particularly like this rendering of myself, but hey.. what the heck. ha

adrift..

my sketch for adrift...its just something quick i did over the super long weekend we had that started on Wednesday last week haha

muddy..

i had some difficulty with this particular ifri... i made a boring picture of myself from looking in the mirror, and then there's just doodles on the bottom sides because i was bored. but...it's kinda muddy and messy..

emphasis..

third piece of the series, supposed to convey emphasis...slash like pattern and rhythm. i wasn't really pleased with this piece, i wanted to do something more with it, but nothing came to me when i was finishing it. so basically this is my least favorite...

contrast..

second piece for my series, to me, it conveys contrast, the sharp edges all around it and then inside that, soft curves. it reminds me of broken glass.

this piece inspired my to do a stained glass version of it, cant wait to get that up here. but anyways...contrast.

movement..

this is part 1 of my triptic "line" series... it was the first drawing i made. we started out sketching them, then transfered them to oak tag paper, and then using gouache to paint them, and going over after with india ink for an accent.

anyways, it was a cool project, a good way to get warmed up and ready for some bigger stuff. This piece represents movement to me, but feel free to interpret it any way you like.

focused..

so...over the weekend my little brother stopped talking to me, so when i went to talk to him he was focusing on his guitar... and not on talking to me.

so...there's like a hurricane going on outside, it was an interesting morning trying to get ready in the dark, and running around hunting down our garbage bins. happy monday!
